Through innovative solutions we can make property tax relief for seniors a reality.

Home ownership is a right that every working American should enjoy:

• A property tax refund for homeowners.

• An aggressive first time homeowners program.

• Tax incentives for landlords to improve their property, making life better for renters. 

• Allowing for Ashland and Framingham to provide a proactive vision for the housing crisis. 

These initiatives will make it possible for everyone to fulfill the American Dream of owning a home.

Real Action to Improve Our Schools

Ensuring our tax dollars end up in the classroom
I will work to stop wasting money on pointless studies, highly paid political administrators and bureaucrats.  Our money must be spent in the classroom where it belongs.  Funding fairness is only part of the picture with schools.  I know that politicians are not the experts in education.  The school principals and the teachers in the classrooms must be empowered to define effective educational programs.  

Empowering families
Many Parents feel powerless in the current bureaucratic system.  I will promote ideas such as charter schools and other efforts that think outside the box in education.  The only way to fix education is put the control in the hands of  parents, teachers and principals.  We should set high standards for all students and teachers if we are to make the most of public education.
